Rules and Regulations

1. Purpose and Scope: The purpose of the Kigali Business Network group is clearly defined. The network is focused on business professional networking and business development. Any discussions, promotions, or posts that are outside the scope of the network group should not be allowed.
2. Professional Conduct: Members of the business network group should conduct themselves in a professional manner. Any derogatory, abusive, or discriminatory language or behavior will not be tolerated.
3. Confidentiality: Members of the business network group should respect the confidentiality of any business or professional information shared within the group. Information shared within the group should not be disclosed outside of the group without the explicit permission of the person who shared it.
4. Spam: Members should not post spam, unsolicited messages, or advertisements that are not relevant to the group’s purpose.
5. Self-promotion: Members may promote their own business, services, or products within the group, but it should not be excessive or spammy. Members should also be transparent about their affiliation with any business or organization they promote.
6. Respectful Dialogue: Members should engage in respectful dialogue and avoid personal attacks or inflammatory language. Disagreements and differing opinions are welcome, but they should be expressed in a professional and respectful manner.
7. Moderator Authority: The moderators of the business network group have the authority to remove any posts or members that violate the rules and regulations of the group. They may also suspend or ban members who repeatedly violate the rules.
8. No Soliciting: Members should not solicit other members for business or job opportunities without their consent.
9. Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Members should comply with all applicable laws and regulations in Rwanda, including but not limited to anti-bribery, and privacy laws.

We believe, by implementing these rules and regulations, our business network group can create a professional and respectful environment that promotes networking and business development while preventing spam, inappropriate behavior, and confidentiality breaches.
